The Jakob-Kaiser-Haus is located directly next to the Reichstag. It houses offices for members of the German Bundestag and the parliamentary groups in eight new buildings and two existing listed buildings. The complex additionally includes a restaurant, a cafeteria and countless meeting rooms.
The German Parliamentary Society is housed in the listed Reichstag President’s Palace. The project was developed in collaboration with five ambitious architects, whose architectural styles are mutually complementary. The building technology was coordinated and implemented centrally however. We were tasked with overall coordination within the general planning for HOAI Phases 5–9. Special requirements of the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) and Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) also had to be taken into account.
