When the construction phase begins
Project coordination/construction management involves monitoring and supervising the companies working on the construction site.
Tasks include:
– Deadline and service/performance monitoring
– Coordination and cooperation with all involved parties
– Quality monitoring
– Cost monitoring
– Orderly technical start-up
– Legally-binding acceptance
The services are regulated in Phase 8 of the German Fee Scale for Architects and Engineers (HOAI) and, if agreed, also in Part B of the German Construction Contract Procedures (Vergabe- und Vertragsordnung für Bauleistungen, VOB/B) on the general conditions of contract relating to the execution of construction work.
Quality control is another important aspect of our work. We want defects to already be rectified during the construction phase, rather than waiting until the final project acceptance. We conduct our activities digitally and, where possible, also with the support of a building information modelling (BIM) system.
As genuine partners in construction, we believe it is important to always present clients with solutions to disputes. For only in this way can they still successfully complete their project. For us, endless legal disputes are clear proof that the quality assurance measures have failed.
